About Bamboo
Bamboo is technically a grass, cut into strips and laminated under pressure into boards. Strand-woven bamboo is harder than most oak, and the plant regenerates in three to five years rather than the decades a hardwood takes — the strongest sustainability case of any material here.
How it ages
Carbonised bamboo ambers gently. Natural bamboo stays close to its original tone, with modest warming.

- Dust with a dry microfibre cloth, following the grain rather than circling across it.
- Lift spills straight away with a dry cloth — water left standing for even an hour can raise the grain.
Chrome
- Dust with a dry soft cloth.
- Wipe fingerprints from polished surfaces promptly, as skin oils mark them.
Marble
- Dust with a dry soft cloth.
- Blot spills the moment they happen — acidic ones such as wine, citrus, coffee and vinegar within seconds, not minutes.

Strips colour from the timber itself and destroys the finish. The damage cannot be reversed by refinishing alone.

Plating is only microns thick. Once through, the base metal shows and no polishing will bring it back.

Acid dissolves calcium carbonate on contact. It leaves a permanent dull etch that cleaning cannot reverse.

No. Your order is delivered to your door, or the nearest point the carrier can reach. If you would like it left somewhere particular, you can usually arrange that with the carrier once tracking is available.

Are the measurements in inches or centimetres?
Both. Every measurement on this page switches between the two, and the Dimensions section shows a scale drawing with each measurement labelled, so you can check a width against your own room rather than reading it off a list.
If a measurement you need is not listed, ask us and we will confirm it before you order.
Will the piece look exactly like the product images?
Close, but not identical. Product images show a representative example of the piece; wood, stone and woven fibres vary naturally, and every screen renders colour a little differently. If you are matching something you already own, ask us through the contact page before ordering.
Is there a warranty?
Warranty coverage varies from piece to piece, so we do not publish a single warranty period. Ask us before you order and we will confirm in writing what applies. Can I pay over time?
