Payment is taken by Shopify's own PCI-compliant checkout over an encrypted connection. Your card details go to the payment processor, never to us, and we do not store them.
Where our sources do not settle a specification, we say so on the page rather than inventing an answer, and you can ask us to confirm a measurement, material or finish before you order.

Free Standard Delivery on every order, and the only way we ship. Your piece comes by parcel carrier to your door anywhere in the contiguous U.S., boxed with the hardware and instructions it needs. It is delivered to your door rather than carried inside, and any assembly is yours.
Everything we carry is sized to be handled without a freight crew: a table two people can place, a lamp you can carry in one hand.

About MDF
Medium-density fibreboard is wood fibre bonded under heat and pressure into a panel with no grain and no direction at all. That uniformity is exactly why it is used for painted and lacquered furniture: it takes a finish more perfectly flat than any timber can.
How it ages
The finish ages; the core does not change unless moisture reaches it, at which point the swelling is permanent.
Everyday
- Dust with a dry or barely-damp microfibre cloth.
- Wipe spills immediately, paying particular attention to edges and seams where the core is exposed.
- Use coasters and placemats — this surface cannot be sanded and refinished the way solid timber can.
- Keep the surface clear of grit, which scratches lacquer easily.
Never
Sanding a scratch
Veneer is often under a millimetre thick. Sanding goes straight through to the core and the damage becomes permanent.

Questions
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No. Your order is delivered to your door, or the nearest point the carrier can reach. If you would like it left somewhere particular, you can usually arrange that with the carrier once tracking is available.
How much assembly is required?
It arrives flat-packed and needs assembling. The fixings and the instructions are in the box.

Are the measurements in inches or centimetres?
Both. Every measurement on this page switches between the two, and the Dimensions section shows a scale drawing with each measurement labelled, so you can check a width against your own room rather than reading it off a list.
If a measurement you need is not listed, ask us and we will confirm it before you order.
Will the piece look exactly like the product images?
Close, but not identical. Product images show a representative example of the piece; wood, stone and woven fibres vary naturally, and every screen renders colour a little differently. If you are matching something you already own, ask us through the contact page before ordering.
Is there a warranty?
Warranty coverage varies from piece to piece, so we do not publish a single warranty period. Ask us before you order and we will confirm in writing what applies. If anything arrives damaged or faulty, contact us through the contact page with your order number and photographs — it is handled under our damage policy, and our warranty page explains longer-term coverage.
Can I pay over time?
Yes, with Shop Pay Installments at checkout, subject to an eligibility check. Depending on the price, you can split it into interest-free payments or pay monthly over 3, 6 or 12 months, and rates range from 0–36% APR.
