About Organic
Organic modern coffee tables and lamps take their shapes from pebbles, planks and woven baskets, in walnut, solid wood, travertine, ceramic, rattan and linen.
How organic modern differs from modern
Where modern pieces keep crisp edges, organic modern softens them and lets natural texture show. Most of the 11 coffee tables are wood-based, many with rounded outlines: the Pembroke Coffee Table is a walnut pebble, 47¼ by 31½ inches, on three cylindrical legs. Others, including the Holbrook Round Coffee Table, have sintered stone tops with banded or streaked, stone-like surfaces.
Across the 35 lamps, texture does the work. Woven rattan, bamboo, water hyacinth, jute and rope appear on shades and bases, while ceramic, travertine and marble give weight low down. The Wyatt Wicker Table Lamp pairs a round ceramic body with a 15¾-inch woven rattan cone, and the Brooks Resin Floor Lamp is a 65-inch resin column molded in a slow S-curve. Warm bulbs around 2700K suit the palette.
Organic modern sits close to Japandi but allows more curve and stronger contrast in texture. Browse organic modern coffee tables, organic modern floor and table lamps, round and oval coffee tables and wood table lamps, and read material care before choosing travertine, rattan or open-grain wood.
