Everything we carry is sized to be handled without a freight crew: a table two people can place, a lamp you can carry in one hand.

About Iron
Cast and wrought iron bring a mass and presence that tubular steel cannot. Cast iron is poured into moulds and is brittle under impact; wrought iron is worked hot and is more ductile. Both rust readily and both depend entirely on their finish.
How it ages
Develops surface rust wherever the coating fails. Waxed and oiled ironwork takes on a deep dark patina that is genuinely attractive.
Everyday
- Dust with a dry soft cloth.
- Wipe fingerprints from blackened steel promptly, as skin oils mark it.
- Dry any moisture immediately, especially where a leg meets the floor.
- Check that floor glides are intact before moving anything.
Never
Wire wool or abrasive pads
They cut through the coating to bare steel, and rust follows within days in normal humidity.

Do I need to be home for delivery?
No. Your order is delivered to your door, or the nearest point the carrier can reach. If you would like it left somewhere particular, you can usually arrange that with the carrier once tracking is available.
How much assembly is required?

Are the measurements in inches or centimetres?
Both. Every measurement on this page switches between the two, and the Dimensions section shows a scale drawing with each measurement labelled, so you can check a width against your own room rather than reading it off a list.

Will the piece look exactly like the product images?
Close, but not identical. Product images show a representative example of the piece; wood, stone and woven fibres vary naturally, and every screen renders colour a little differently. If you are matching something you already own, ask us through the contact page before ordering.
Is there a warranty?
Warranty coverage varies from piece to piece, so we do not publish a single warranty period. Ask us before you order and we will confirm in writing what applies. Can I pay over time?
